Functional of Foods

1.Some foods give us energy
We need energy to walk, run, play and work.
Example : Rice and bread

                         Bread                                                               Rice

2.Some foods help us to grow.
Growing children should eat more of such food to help them to grow.
Example : milk and fish.


3. Some foods help us to stay healthy.
When we are healthy, we do not fall sick easily.
Example : Fresh fruits and vegetables.
